New Internet Scam: Be Careful Using Craigslist

One online shopper loses $3,500.00 in Craigslist scam.  It works like this.  You email a seller and the seller asks you to use a service called "Net Assistant Trader".  Essentially, the "service" is supposed to hold you money until you confirm that you are satisfied with the product you were to receive.  In theory this is a great idea, in practice, this is a true scam.  Once you transfer the money, you can consider it gone.  I would suggest doing your due diligence.  Always go to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) an look up the service in question.  Also, don't forget to use Google as well.  You'll be better prepared and less likely to be nailed to the wall or out some serious cash.
